The ultimate goal of the FasTrack Process is to provide a business solution that will maximize a company’s success in global markets by streamlining its global expansion process and exponentially growing its sales and profits while reducing overall costs. The FasTrack Export Step-by-Step Process is available in a series of seven volumes. Each volume addresses one of phases in the FasTrack Process. The Phase 2 volume will assist in selecting the company’s highest potential export products and developing a synergistic export promotion organization and resource network. A major task in this phase will be identifying, selecting, and prioritizing the company’s highest potential target markets. Other tasks include determining the most appropriate market entry method for each target market, selecting the customer segments to be served in each market, determining the distribution channels to be used in each market, and determining the positioning of the products that will be offered in the markets. Export plans will be finalized for each targeted market and the rest-of-world market. The result will be a highly focued export and global expansion program that will maximize sales and profits results. The volume contains37 process worksheets. W Gary Winget is a principal of FasTrack Global Expansion Solutions and Global Resource Associates. He served as the former Assistant Director for Export Development at the Minnesota Trade Office where he received the Governor’s Award for his outstanding efforts. He was honored with the U.S. Presidential ‘E’ Award for his company’s outstanding contribution to the nation’s export expansion program by the U.S. Department of Commerce. He was also awarded a Bush Mid-Career Fellowship to study public policy at Yale University. Winget received his B.S. in commerce and law from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign.
