With forty-three years’ utilities industry experience, Ken Sheridan is recognized as the force behind Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E), Kentucky Utilities (KU), and Davis H. Elliot Company’s status among the top utility industry safety performers.Sheridan’s energetic approach to safety combined with the implementation of behavior-based techniques, are key to his positive industry impact. As a result, LG&E and KU won many awards and serve as benchmarks for other companies’ safety goals. Sheridan enhanced safety performance among U.S. utilities as well as abroad. More recently, Ken joined the Davis H. Elliot Company where he created the “No Compromise Moments” video library. He remains a member of the Davis H. Elliot Corporate Safety Governance Team. While working for Davis H. Elliot, Ken published his first book, No Compromise: The Truth about Workplace Safety and Business Success.Sheridan holds a BA from Murray State University in Health and Sociology, and completed postgraduate work in Human Relations. In addition, he was appointed to the post of chair of the Kentucky Labor Cabinet’s Apprenticeship and Training Council by the Kentucky governor.
